Default G(S400)reetings all!

Yo, well i'm new here, just picked up a 2000 GS400 w/ 58K miles. It's really a peach. First thing I did was go out and pick up some 18"s to make it a little less pedestrian.

My question is this: is there a noticeable gain in installing an SRT intake system (or anything similar)?

Comments/suggestions?

thanks in advance.

SRT intake isnt a bad first choice although some would probably suggest a suspension for you to go with the larger wheels. An LSD and torque converter come highly suggested with the GS400 you have.

Welcome to CL!! Search for the SRT question, lots of discussions here covering that issue. I would guess those of us here are split about 50/50 on the SRT.

Welcome to CL, and enjoy the car. The SRT makes a nice amount of power!

They are TSW - VORTEX. I bought them off buywheelstoday.com. Very good sight/price. I ordered them Thursday of last week and they arrived this morning.

Not at all, I paid $18.5K for it. One owner, interior/exterior was near flawless.
