It depends...

Is it OEM to your car or are you trying to retrofit from another year model?

I've heard some guys had to use 3m adhesive for final fit...

A flat blade screwdriver covered w/ masking tape and a little patience ought to do the trick...

Give some more details about your particular situation.

u jsut pry off the stock piece and push in the new piece. there are 4 sides. the side that is adjacent to the cup holders might need some double sided tape.

I think it depend on the year of the car.. when I got my from Steve, it could not be perfect fit on the left side.. The piece that I got have straight edge on the left side.. the right side have a hook.. What I did was following someone else's post and uses a lighter to burn the straight side and carefully use a thin plyer to bend it to a hook shape and villa.. perfect fit.. Hey.. its only $18 if you break it...

Hi biggie,
you don't need to heat it, just be careful when you bend the snaps, bend them outward and they will snap in tight.
