Does anyone have Black Chromed Emblem on their GS300/400? Steve Ganz inform me that he will be receiving GS430 black chromed emblems in a few days. I have a Silver GS430 and wonders how it would look.

Pictures would be helpful if anyone has black chromed emblems.

johnny mo has onyx(black chrome) on his black gs,looks real sweet, gives the car personality, i've seen it in person and they really look nice,go for it.

 

Is this the same as the Black Pearl badging found on the Platinum Edition Lexus ?

I have pearl GS w/ Gold kit...I think the black would make it pop even more.

I think the Black Chrome I am referring to may be the same as the Black Pearl found on the Platnuim series. I will confirm with Steve Ganz. Originally I wanted to get the Gold kit because the original chrome does not show the GS430 well on a silver car. From behind it is difficult to see if my car is a GS430 or a GS400. Black on silver would give it more of a contrast.

Good choice. I think gold emblems on a silver car is just plain sick Take pics when you get the black ones I wanna see how they look

Here's the link to my GS with the Platinum emblems on Black. Agreed the Black emblems on Silver car looks much better than the Silver on Silver. I was actually planning on changing my emblems to black, but the Platinum came with them already - I like the stealth look.
