What year GS comes with the E-shift?

What year GS comes with the E-shift and/or the Steering wheel Controls for the radio?

for GS400, 98-00 have the e-shift; for GS300 01 and newer

98-00 GS400 comes with E-shift but no stereo controls on the steering wheel

01-up GS430 comes with steering wheel stereo controls but no E-shift

98-00 GS300 gets none of the above

01-up GS300 gets the E-shift and if Im not mistaken it also gets the stereo controls ( not sure about the stereo controls )

E-shift ( electronic shifting )

its those buttons you see on the steering wheel of the GS400 or the 2001-2002 GS300, they let you shoose when you want to change gears so you can get more from every gear, there alot of fun to play with if you like to speed and take corners hard like me

Another question for you

Thanks all for clearing that up fo me.

I have another question and did not really want to start another post. I am thinking that an ECU is an (Engine Control Unit) Is this correct? What is this Steering ECU upgrade I keep hearing about?
What exactly does it do?
and last but not least. Is there a Search Feature on this forum? If so where is it?
