Default Urgent - need help w/Wireless Remote - window up???

My inside window switch is broken (driver door) and when I used the wireless remote to lower the windows and cool car off for my infant son, I couldn't raise the one back up. Can the wireless be used to raise windows??

You can put the key in the door and turn it, I think clockwise and the windows will all go back up.

yes that's the only way. i think turn it clockwise and HOLD it. the door will lock, and then windows going up

for all US version gs, you can't roll up windows with the remote

Actually I think you need to turn it counter clockwise, which ever way locks the doors. If you turn it to the unlock you'll open the windows.

It also depends on the vehicle you have, I assume you have a GS, if so you should be good.

Well you had a fifty/fifty chance, I'm sure he'd try the other way if it didn't work.

I had a problem with the remote not opening the driver's door, but all of the other doors opened with the usual double click. At the same time, the window would not traverse all the way with one brief click (either up or down). I disconnected the battery and I believe that rebooted the computer which fixed the problems. This fix may apply to other computer problems too, but I haven't seen it posted before.

so on our US cars we can not do the window trick with the remote key, but the holding the key to lock the car, all the window do role up and the sunroof closes. i think it might be pretty easy to rig somthing up to close all the windows and the sunroof with the remote key, i will take a look one of these days and see if i can get it to work somhow, hopfully without brecking anything hehe
