Excuse the crappy looking picture but my brother decided to drop my digital camera and it hasn't worked good since.. Anyways for those who are looking at an exhaust upgrade this is how the L-Tuned muffler looks like.. Nice rumble but not too annoying.. The little woman doesn't even complain and she even likes the sound..

 

ohhh nice , very nice ! The mufflers aint bad too . I'm in the process of trading in my car for the spectra blue. The l-tuned muffler, does it give the v8 more of a deeper sound?

You're trading in your baby on a Spectra Blue.. Well honestly if I were to do it all over again I think I might of gotten a Silver GS after seeing the paint on the SC430 and other GS's in my area that are Silver I really think its the best choice for various reasons.. Maybe I am overly picky but I see every little nick on the Blue and it annoys me to no end.. But when the Blue is clean and mint nothing looks nicer..

As for the muffler it really makes the car sound like a V8 when you are city driving.. At 2000 rpm you get a nice rumble which is very V8 like.. If you want a bit more rumble I think the Borla exhaust sounds a bit louder IMHO but then again I didn't go from 1 car to the next when I was sound testing..

 

are the L tune loud when you go Wide open?

reason i ask is the supra has the TRD cat back, at WOT its loud, like 120+ Db, but i do have down pipe

At WOT it just sounds right for lack of a better description.. Actually Dexter said it best when he got his Borla installed he drove around without the stereo off and the sunroof open just so he could hear the exhaust.. Gotta admit I am guilty of that too.. The sound isn't over the top loud.. I did a cat back on my old Intrepid and it was much louder than this with the Intrepid V6.. (See pic below)

It just sounds like a V8 now not so meek like before.. People do turn to see what car just passed if that helps to describe the sound.. One draw back the cops seem to have noticed me now when I drive the GS.. Oh well..

Sasha wish I got a chance to hear your GS when I saw it at Ken Shaw but the body shop guy wouldn't start it up for me.. I tried to persuade him thou.. hehe.. If I slapped a Greedy on the wife's GS she would divorce my a$$.. LOL

Thanks guys for the compliments but our car pales in comparison to alot of CL member cars.. Last mod on the GS will be the L-tuned suspension I think but who knows..

Everyone else who hasn't heard the L-Tuned - it is NOT a wimpy sound, trust me. People in the car, and near the car WILL NOTICE. Nice 'woof' on starting the car, low exhaust note on part throttle, and a growl/roar on WOT that says 'get out of the way' without saying 'I can deafen you'.

 

hahaha, i dont see why they can start it up for themselves and drive it around but not for you! haha oh well,

Ken Shaw is about 20 - 30 minutes away depending on how fast the 401 is travelling that day.. Their body shop did a great job on the bumper.. Paint match is pretty much perfect on the bumper from the bumper car action that a certain nameless person did to it.. LOL

 

hahaha, you should see my bumper, you would hit me! well my rear, my front isn't bad, but then there are dents all around the car, like for examply my idiot brother plays basketball with the car in the driveway and when the ball hits the rim and bounces right it falls and hits the car leaving a big *** dent, and that ends up leaving a big *** dent in his face for his ignorance. yep you should see the back of the front seat, he always puts his feet up on the upholstry and he ripped it now, there was even a mcdonalds hamburger in the litttle pouch that i found about 3 months after it was placed there,
