Default need help on some check engine codes

hey guys ... i just started my car and got a check engine light ... i had this happen like a couple months earlier while i was driving ... well i went to autozone and had them pull the codes for me. I got two codes. one was P0715 and what read underneath was something about a turbine speed sensor malfunction. and the other one was P0763 and the text underneath i think was something about a shift solenoid malfunction. Is there anything you guys can do to help .. thank you guys .. oh and there doesnt seem to be anything wrong when i drive though except when it came on i noticed that the shift from 1st to 2nd was a little rough and not the usual silky smooth but then it went away right away. Now the check engine light is gone. Is there anything I should be worried about. Thank you guys.

Send me a PM to remind me and I will read up on it in my service manual when I get home and let you know what it says.

My wife just got a P0763 today too. It went away after dinner tonite when we took the car to Autozone to pull the code. Did you ever find out what caused this or what the fix is?

P0763: "Shift Solenoid C circuit"

Thanks
Brandon

P07##'s are always (i think) transmission codes:

P0715 - Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction (O/D Direct Clutch Speed Sensor)
P0760 - Shift Solenoid "C" Malfunction (Shift Solenoid Valve No.3)
P0763 - Shift Solenoid "C" Electrical Malfunction (Shift Solenoid Valve No.3)

Did you do the repair work or did you have it done at a shop? If at a shop take it back and have them check it out again. Hopefully they have some sort of warranty.

that's because it's a "hard" code which means it's permanent in teh ecu unless the ecu is reset with a scan tool after the problem is fixed.

it sounds to me like you need a valve body. you ahve some clogs in the tiny passageways in side the valve body which keep s the fluid from building pressure to the shift solenoids.

do you keep your trans fluid changed regularly?

the fluid is clean previous owners were on top of maintance
i got it flushed out totally and have done a drain and refill
so its not that that serviced but its clean enough
I got it done at Exact motorsports
I had to leave my car overnight which i dislike doing
seemed like good people though and heard good stuff on the forums
Im gonna take it back see what he can do if he can handle it great if not dealer it is...
i put on a srt intake and it started coming up more after that but i think its unrelated after like a month i dunno its a weird problem and it annoys me
sometimes it may just be gone sometimes its there for a week sometimes itll just pop up while driving
but in the long run i think its a different shift solenoid i think both were bad the first time... but only one got replaced because i used to have 3 codes now i have 2 ... after getting one solenoid fixed
and no i doubt i need a tranny once the check engine light is gone shifts solid and i have low miles i have other family with above 200k and they abuse the **** out the car everyday... i beat it up on occasion lol

Check the connectors at the transmission, makes sure there is no water or corrosion in them, you can also drop the trans pan and clean the solenoids and or check the valve body.

For the person who wrote "i got it flushed out totally and have done a drain and refill" and anybody else thinking about this...

Toyota/Lexus does not feel it is necessary to flush any automatic transmissions and now most trans are factory sealed for 100,000 miles or life.

Dont flush your trans, just drain and refill like your owners manual says.

If you keep getting the same code take it to the dealership and have them fix it, you probably dont need a transmission just a valve body... if it cant be cleaned.

im not sure if it was a flush but he charged me for like 10qts i think of my understanding to get to the solenoid you drop the tranny pan if you do that dont you have to take out all the fluid?
