Default Taillight Question! Really Quick

Hey guys,
I tried to do a search for this information and coudltn find anything. My question is if I update my tailights from 98 to the newer 01, will the light warning on the consol coem on? Yes or No. Thanks

absolutely not. as long as you get the harness as well, it's all plug and play, and since it's all normal bulbs not led, you are fine

maximussp: I hope you don't mind me asking another question about something similar to this - is it possible to break away the "orange" using a soldering iron like in the 98 taillights?

absolulely not. been there, tried that, and failed. it's one piece, not separate

Rominl! wassup man? long time!!! anyways, definetly get the 01 + tails...actually u can find the ones that have red/clear on ebay. 01 tails make a huged difference!

i suppose you talking about the new jp taillights, that are even led as well, fo much cheaper
