Default AC problem

my 99' gs300 AC takes about 5 min to cool and it's making a tapping noise under the engine cover when AC is running (pretty loud). the noise get louder if give more gas. I was thinking about bad compressor but if bad compressor AC will not get colder right? what do you guys think? please give advise thank you. and I have 84,000 miles on it does it still cover under warranty?

Default Tapping noise

I'd call the dealer and ask the service guy what he thinks it is.

I don't think it is your compressor but I could be wrong.

That seems like a lot.
Take it to a Lexus dealer and see if you get a different answer.

I'm not saying you can, but you might get your parts cheaper through one of the vendors here. Contact Carson and Sewell and see what they say. You can find them under Vendor Classifieds.
