Default performance options??

other than intake, ecu, spark plugs, grounding kit, headers, exhaust, lsd, torque converter...what else can you do to make the gs400 faster?? any pulleys? cam gears?

gears (not cam, rear end) such as a 3.76 or 3.9x or 4.1x rear end will make a big difference in off the line performance.

You can also supercharge it or try something crazy like TT GS4 that's on here somewhere. But it will be very expensive to do.

yeah.. i'm lookin' for all options that aren't FI at the moment.. i want to max out the NA possibilities and then go with FI.. since i know i'm gonna hunger more power lol

Just save the money and go FI sooner if that's your ultimate goal. Little mods that you might or might NOT need later will end up taking longer. Heck, save up for an M5.

I had FRPP 4.10 gears in my 01' Cobra. It helped so much with the acceleration especially from slower speeds but reduced the top speed a bit. But what streetcar is always cruising or racing in the 150-160MPH range anyways? It FELT like it added 50hp/50 ft. lbs tq. The car came with stock 3.27's. After switching out to the 4.10's I lost about 2 MPG. It was well worth it. Installation was very costly and I also had to purchase a speed calibrator to correct my speedo.
