I recently purchased a 1998 gs300 and I would like to repair or replace the nakamichi sound system. The lcd display is unreadable. What options do I have that do not involve a do-it-yourself project that I am certain I would screw up. My perference would be to add cd capabilities while doing this.

check out the lighting forum or use the search feature. plenty of threads on this topic.

http://www.lextech.org/ can repair if for you. They can even change the color if you want. check them out.

place a wtb ad and someone may have a direct swop for you. i wouldn't mess with getting it fixed.

 

once the head unit is swapped i'm assuming your cd changer should work....
