Default Car wont start Help

Hey whats up ,

I had locked my car keys in the car (actually in the trunk) I called the lock smith he poped the door lock open and I got the keys ou t of the trunk.
Now the car wont start. When the lock smith poped the door lock open the car alarm went off. He said it might be that you need to reset the alarm...?
I got power, ignition turns on, but car wont start, wont even crank.

Any idea what might be worng?

would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Did you just try simple ECU reset by unplugging the battery connector?

Try closing the door and locking the door, then put the key in the door and unlock it.

That should fix it.

I was thinking the same thing. Either the stock alarm did it or the aftermarket alarm did it. One thing you can do if you want is to bypass the ignition kill switch wire by reconnecting it. It is the FATTEST wire coming out of the aftermarket alarm and may even be brown. That will only work if the aftermarket alarm did it though. gl

Edited: On second thought the ignition wire I spoke of might actually be the starter kill wire. Its been so long since I wired up an alarm I forgot. Either way its still more than likely brown and still the fattest wire.
