I am wondering when I want to lower my Gs, what are my options, I know I can purchase tein coilovers, but is there anything cheaper; or is that the best way to go?
thanks
Me personally, I went the coilover route after doing my research. It seemed that quite a few people that originally went the lowering springs route ended up switching to coilovers down the road for either better/aggressive/stiffer/responsive handling, or for a lower drop that what the springs could provide. It seemed natural for me to jump to coilovers and save the money and hassle of having to switch out springs at a later point like those before me.
Good luck and let us know what route you end up going
THank you for your help I greatly appreciate it! Coilovers it is!
Great choice, but unfortunately, you're gonna have to research more on which coilovers to get!! hahaha!
The suspension section has some great writeups and comparisons on the various coilover suspensions. I believe also that in our vendor section, one of our sponsors is having a special on the Tein CS coilovers, which are probably the most prefer of the coilovers amongst GS owners on CL. I personally have the Bilstein coilovers, and love them for daily driving. Your decision on which one to buy (after researching them of course) while depend on whether you want more comfort, or more performance, or a combination of the two.
