I Got Hit - Long & Pic

I'm on my way home from a dinner with a group of friends.
3 lanes at a light
I'm in the far left, a kid in a dakota truck in the middle, and an teg in the far right. Well, the light turns green, I accel slowly, normally, and the kids feel like giving it a go.
I watch, and the kid beside me starts fishtailing, bad, because the road was wet from the sprinklers at the strip center....
I take my foot off the accel and watch causiously, he begins to fishtail more, then more, I stomp on my brake and lay on the horn as he comes into my lane, then BAM!, he hits my pass front corner, just under the light.
Cop in the strip center saw the whole thing, witnesses all over.
I fine, but the kid in the truck comes over and tries to apologize, I tell him to stay away, forcefully. The kid in the teg starts throwing attitude at me saying'its just an accident, it can be fixed...' I tell him to shut the f* up and get the f* away from me before he causes himself harm.
The cops heres our conversaton from his car and tells the kid to go stand by his car - the cop was really cool.
The cop told me not to worry - he was citing the kid - they don't find fault in NC, the ins co does, and my ins is great.
SO, no bodily harm done to me, and the kid was lucky the cop showed up quickly.....
the ***** of it is, I arrived home today to meet my Ltuned Susp and TRD Grille I was to have installed in a couple of weeks - doubtful now that'll get done, *maybe before Asheville*.....
Now I gotta deal with all this crap, while working out of town during the week - FUN

Dexter, that's terrible - sorry to hear about your bad luck. And that's going to be expensive to fix (fender and bumper at least). MAKE SURE YOU GET A BODY SHOP YOUR LEXUS DEALER APPROVES OF!

Yeah, expensive - but it'll come out of a check from my ins with only my $250 deuctible removed. so I guess thats a highlight, if you can call it that.
I've got the mods waiting now AND SRT stuff planned for late October - I guess it'll all fall in place eventually.
I just plan on calling my dealer and asking for a recommendation -I've used another shop in town just for mnor thingsm and they do good work; we'll see
Man, I'm really pissed off. Bit, why don't you dome down here and 'Bit-Slap' this moron around in your usual style! I may be temped to do more than that

Hey Dex,
So sorry to see what happened to your Spectra Blue baby but sh*t happens as they say and you are fine.. As for the paint it is pretty easy to get a perfect paint job with the Spectra Blue according to my dealership who repainted the rear bumper on the GS.. Just like the guys said find a good place that the dealer recommends and you're golden..
Side note: Silver from what they tell me is the hardest colour to get the perfect match..

I'm glad you're alright, but sorry to hear of the accident! While some may say your car is just a possesion, I think the point is that we try hard to take care of our cars, and then some jerk-off comes along and messes things up. I hope you are able to find a good body shop that fixes things to your liking, because after all, what counts is that you are satisfied!

below the chome (front bumber) and above your chrome is also the front bumber you probobly already knew that but its not so bad if you get a new front bumper and whatever they have to do to the fender i dunno

I fixed the Yahoo Album to be 'Public' if you couln'tget into it earlier.
Thanks to all for the words of sympathy.
I just really have gone out of my way to take care of it for the 4 months I've had it, and to have this BS happen, blows.
Although , a new front bumper would be nice - mine was kind of rocked chipped to death - mind you, it's not worth getting in to an acident for it!

That sucks dexter. The idiot kid should have to pay your deductible. Even with a messed up fender and bumper your GS still looks kick-***. I love that blue - looks very clean in the pictures. Good luck getting things fixed.
