Got the estimate today - ~2K when said and done

A silver lining - I'm having them paint and install my TRD grille; 'less than $50' time and materials since they'll already be painting the car... they will be painting the outside trim to match my body color....

They also said about 5 days, so that's not too bad - I'll just get a rental for the week, which is nothing new because I've been working out of town, and hopefully everything will be back to normal next weekend.....oh, yeah, *pics of course if its ready*!

Thanks again for the suppout guys; I guess even being a defensive drive doesn't guaratee you anything these days.

Peace

For those that are intersted, I added some more pics I took yesterday while outside in brighter light.

Damage is a bit more visible.

It's not going to be ready this weekend.

They also found out they will have to replace my pass headlight housing - it works, but one of the 'mounting tabs' has broken off. Don't know how much the housing runs; doesn't matter to me, I'm not footin the bill.

Drivin my Chrysler Concorde around...

The housing will be around $340. Try to get the insurance pay for the whole assembly including the HID. That'll be around $1100. The body shops usually don't do a good job on reassembling the HID into the headlight housing

Well, I just got off the phone with my contact at the body shop and my car is done - in addition to my TRD grille painted and installed, so I'll take some pics when I pick it up and have them up Friday night

But, I won't be able to pick it up until Friday since I'm working out of town.

I asked him about the cost of the replaced headlamp, and he said it was like $360.

I guess they replaced just the housing and not the total HID assembly. As long at its the same as the driver side and doesn't leak, I'm golden, right?
