BMW driver gives me thumbs up
I was driving home today and there was a guy in a 330i bmw behind me. I was taking a left thru the intersection. I downshifted to 2nd and punched thru it pretty quick without breaking a sweat. After a few seconds, I see the BMW closing up behind me and then he pulled ahead to look at the car. I guess he was surprised a lexus could take a turn like that
While rolling on the road, he pulled in front of me and looked at the quad HID's and then we stopped at the light. He was next to me and asked me what I had in my car. I told him the Flex coilovers, and the custom quad HID. He said he's never seen a lexus turn like that before and he also thougt my HID's were crazy....lol

Well, he may have been sticking his thumb up, but it wasn't to let you know that he liked your car. He was trying to alert you to the fact that your roof was dented.
J/K. I admit, that was a low blow. Anything new to report? When is the car going into Dent King?

Heh, I knew someone was going to comment about the dent, but it is not very noticable by the occasional passer-by, and at night you pretty much have to feel it to know its there. It's mainly because my car has white paint, dents don't show up too well which is a good thing. I'm getting it fixed at Dent Wizard for about $800, but the guy said he could work out a deal with me since there are so many dents. Also, some of the dents are in one big section rather than spread apart so he would count some of them as one dent.
About the headlights. In the "low beam" side of the housing, I have retrofitted a Bi-xenon HID projector and the fog lights have HID's in them.
Here's a pic of what it looks like when I'm driving around on the road at night.

what bulb are you using for your parking light? that is a really bright/deep blue

Well, the parking light is just one of those 5LED-bulb things. Cheap $4-5, when I say cheap, I mean it. Two of them have gone out already. Whenever you order the cheap LED bulbs, always be sure to buy a few extra because they will go out. And if it doesn't go out. It will start flickering like crazy making it look like a ricer strobe or something.
As for the blue-ish color that is because I have blue halogen bulbs in the high beam housings. It's the color of the bulb reflecting in the housing, but the led helps light up the blue color a bit more.
Kharizma - The projectors are out of a BMW M5. Hella Bi-Xenon Projector unit. It's a commonly used bi-xenon projector in many euro high end sports cars. Benz E55, BMW M5, Audi RS6, etc...
I'll try to get some pix of the hid's later.
