Default GS3 for GS430?

Here is the info on the vehicle. They are asking 39k . How much do you think would be fair for a trade - Certified 2002 GS3 with 44k miles + ???????? = 2004 GS430

It looks like somebody on ebay just picked it up for $36,700 - unless that was you.

Well, certified w/ low miles (and taking a look on cars.com), i think you could maybe get $25-28K private. The dealer will most likely give you much less on a trade.

If you just want to get into a 430, save some money and go for an '01 or an '02. You might be able to pull off a straight up trade if you go up on the miles a bit.

I will look around, if I can find a trade within 3-5k I can do it. You think I should hold off on modding?

It's all a matter of personal preference. For me - the stock V8 is plenty fast. If you want to go all out w/ turbos, engine swaps, etc... then the 300 is the way to go. Good luck!
