Default Would you guys.......

I have a particular dilemma. If there was a good/great deal on rims that you exactly want (style, model, color) but not staggered set-up as you wanted. Example 20x8.5 38 offset all around with 245/35/20 used but in 99% condition. Or new everything with staggered setup but would cost you an extra $1,100. What would you guys do? Also to take note is that these rims would only be put on for the summer time since I am in NYC.

Hmmmm...
So you can get them for $X price, but they aren't exactly what you want.

Or you can pay $1100 more and get exactly what you want.

Hmmm... so how important is staggered to you? $1100 worth?

That is a tough call. Whats the total $$ outlay as is?

If you plan on keeping them for a long time , pay the 1100$ so that you dont regret NOT paying it later on

After you buy the used set, the seller is going to kick in $1100 and buy the set you wanted. I've always been big on "don't settle for less" save a little bit more for what you truly want. Then again, I won't turn my back on a "great deal". You can always resell them (or it) again if it's truly a bargain.

I would save for the ones you want. I have a hard time waiting for something, especially when I want it lol, but like others posted, just save for the ones you "really" want. Once you get them you will like them even more.

I've been there and done that...just get the wheels you want and don't settle. You"ll be a lot happier in the long run.

It's hard to turn down a great deal that's in front of you. Besides, if later on you decide to go with a staggered setup, you could simply buy just the rear wheels (assuming they hadn't been discontinued).

I chose to spend the extra $1000+ and get the ones I wanted that I know are classy. I just wish the 20" Donz Columbo's would get here already!
