hey guys, i know this is probobly normal but whenever i turn off my car it starts dripping stuff.. i dont know what it is but i know that its not gasoline. Either oil or coolant. I found that it is coming from a hose pointing at the ground, so its not a leak... what is it?

and will and oil catch tank besomething i should use to stop it?

thanks guys

If it is coming from a hose in front it is most likely coolant from the radiator overflow reservoir.

Check the plastic coolant reservoir per owner's manual. There is a line on the side marked "full hot". Coolant over this line usually expands and drips out as it is designed to do.

As long your temp guage is normal there is nothing to worry about

Perfectly normal Sasha - it's condensation from the air conditioner. Stick your finger in the puddle of water - it probably doesn't smell at all, and may (although I wouldn't recommend it) be drinkable.

Track officials hate it when water is placed anywhere else other than in the burnout box. If you are gonna go to the track, just make sure that when you arrive, you turn off the AC before you go racing. About 5-10 min before your race should be sufficient, that way you don't drip water onto the track. Water+Drag strip=no traction and possibility of major accident.

have fun

If the AC is on while the car is on, it will drip. When you turn the AC or car off, it will contunue to drip a bit.

So to make sure you're not dripping, keep the AC off.

Yes it is the condensation from the AC unit in the car.

My car pisses a heck of a lot of water, it looks like something burst under there at times. ;-)
