Default Comparing the GS

Ive been kinda wondering if I made the right choice going with the GS300. Im feelin kinda limited with the 300. How much of a difference do you feel with the GS4? Anyway, im also wondering about the handling. What should I do to get it to handle comparable to a ---EDIT (stupid) Guess I dont really like the boat feel. I think Im just looking for a little more pep and a sportier ride and I am considering selling my car, help me out.

Before I bought my GS4, I drove the GS3. The GS4 just feels a ton faster because of the torque. As for the Boat feel, I put on a set of shocks/springs combo with some Daizen sways and the handling of the car is night and day compared to factory setup. Better tires will help a lot as well. I think with this setup, you should be close to or even better than the handling of a GTi. Good Luck

Well, i won't comment this" What should I do to get it to handle comparable to a VW GTI (one of my favorite rides)? Guess I dont really like the boat feel. I think Im just looking for a little more pep and a sportier ride and I am considering selling my car, help me out.[/QUOTE]"

I just got off '97 Jetta 6 months ago and before VW i've owned '94 SC400 and let me tell you...........
Thats what you gotta do:

1. Sell GS300

2. Buy SC400 betwen '98-'00 (it's not heavy as GS, some sway bars+coilovers+intake+brakes+nice wheels)

3. YOU CAN HAVE ANY vw YOU WANT

4.Than, ha ha ha

Got it???????

So , DO IT NOWWWWWW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at that mileage, probably around 17-18K for a gs400....since the new GS is already out, current prices have been dropping on the last gen GS

If you want to keep the GS300 get some TIEN CS w/ EDFC.

That will take of most your handling issue.

As far as the speed. FI all the way.

The GS300 is the best bang for buck if you are willing to mod her.

you'll be lucky to get 20k if you sell your car now...

that would mean that you would need to pay an additional 18,000 for the GS430.

I say just keep driving your car and mod it to get rid of the "boat feel".

and when you have enough money, you can turbo it.

Good grief. Have you even opened the hood? The GS300 has a straight 6, not a V6.

If you don't like the boat feel, but a smaller, lighter car. Maybe a sports car? The GS is a LUXURY car. It was built to carry 5 people around in comfort and style.

Why do people insist on making a car something it was never designed to be?
