let me rephrase that disconnected the battery for 5 minutes then reconnected it..

How did you end up resolving that? Mine has done the exact same thing. Motor is running, passenger side seems off tracks (looks like little track with grooves is missing on that side)

just an FYI, coco hasnt logged on in over 2 years. i just replaced my whole sunroof track. i got a spare sunroof for cheap and fixed it this way.

hey any pics or thread on how you replaced the whole track? What did you pay for it? I might have to do the same for my GS400

Easy. My sunroof went all the way back and would not close. I held the close button down while taking the other hand pulling the glass forward. The motor kicked in and the sunroof closed.
