What do you expect to hear? you need to drop the bumper and replace the damaged parking sensor. As these are ultra sonic, any damage to the surface of the sensor will quite likely brake it. painting it will brake it, if the inner part is not free to oscillate from the outer part (surrounded by a rubber gasket) it will brake.... basically these are ridiculously brittle things to put on a bumper
You can try to take the bumper off, and see if you can salvage the existing sensor (see if it is connected, re-insert into bumper, etc...) If you have tech-stream you can pretty easily diagnose the broken sensor.
The part number is just a google search away, you can get one from your Lexus parts source for about $200. Note the part number vaires on where the sensor is and the color of your car. Most notably the center sensors are different than the outer ones connection wise http://www.lexuspartsnow.com/parts/l...-30010-c4.html
Wow, thanks so much for the info! Looks like I need a No2 Ultrasonic sensor. So there is a part number for the sensor, and the gasket that goes around the sensor (which is also color specific)?
Also, I have never removed the bumper, looks like I remove 6 rivots and 4 screws to remove it?
Thanks again for the useful information.
