Default Borla Round VS Oval help!

I used search but cant find a good comparison showing the two. I wanted to see what each looks like. Anyone have pics of the round and oval borla tips on a 2nd gen gs?

Yes.

In my case I've had the Borla exhaust (old oval style) since 1999 - pics above. They fit great and look great IMO with the stock exhaust cutouts.

Along the way I added the L-Sportline rear bumper and the old oval exhaust was too inset. I solved that problem by buying a set of Borla tips from DrewGS4 on the forum here (he is an authorized vendor to sell the tips on CL, btw) and getting my old tips cut off and the new ones tack welded on and aligned to my liking with the new rear bumper.

Dave your car has come such a LONG way and those 'newer' pics with the HRE's, that was without the WIN kit. Your car has transformed quite a bit... Always for the better

Lol, chuck you missed the opportunity to use the .

I like round better now as well, but only slightly.

On the pictures only one is 'current state' with the WIN kit, Veilside hood, etc (the first one under 'round' with the trees behind the car. The others are along-the-way progress from September upward. I could have done one of the old-school pics with Borla ovals too in one of the earlier stages.

A couple of the oval tips pics also have a Tom's VA rear-lip add on piece that makes the back flare out a bit more. It's not very visible on my black GS though.

I like the round as well, or as Dave said "the more accurate newer style".

Not to hijack the thread, but Dave your ride is a sight for sore eyes man. BIG 2 you.

If it was my choice I go with the round, they just seem to fill in better.
