if it is the starter, you can try it rebuilt it instead of paying lexus replacing a new one for over 800 dollar(parts and labor)... I did it to my LX470, only cost me 10 dollar and 5 hours of work..
note, the starter is right under the manifold, you need to take off a lot of stuff to get to it, that's why people charging a fortune on labor...
