Default Well, I wrecked it

I was the last car of a three car pileup today... all because some idiot swerved across 3 lanes of traffic to get off at his exit. He did, and the Ford Ranger pickup at the front of the pileup slammed on his brakes, resulting in the wreck. Jerkfaces. Oh well...I was meaning to repaint the entire front of the car anyway. It may be pretty close to being totaled, with 136k miles on it... and I already have another GS lined up to buy if it is .

Yeah, I'm fine and there weren't any passengers... I didn't happen to be wearing a seatbelt at the time, and my head hit the sunvisor and then bumped slightly against the windshield. Strangely enough, even though my steering wheel was all the way down, I don't have any bruising. As far as I know, the guy who caused this just went on his merry way and never knew what he did.

The part that kinda sucks about this is that I just got my car back a month ago after being a month in the shop because of their error Posted Here. The good part about this is that if it's totaled, I have a '98 Cinnabar GS4 with 95k miles and navigation lined up to buy. I haven't seen it personally, but while I was getting stuff out of my car yesterday at the body shop I talked to the manager of the Lexus dealer... said it would be a great buy. Oh well, I guess I'll see what happens in the next few days/weeks...

Here's a pic of the engine bay from my awful camera phone... it's amazing how the bumper is untouched, the brunt of the damage is on the sheet metal which is also why the airbags didn't go off (I was going about 40 when I collided). The only frame metal that's bent is the piece in front of the condensor/radiator/whatever its called these days.
