Installed L-Tune PS ECU, HMMM, no difference, I think-PICS
#1
Took less then 15 minutes. Phillip screwdriver, 10mm on an extension and some bending. Curious though that I do not notice much difference. I did mark the old one,so I know it did not go back in (they are the same part number-NOT SMART LEXUS) I have not taken it on the highway yet, maybe there I will notice something. I will post tomorrow after some highway driving.
Got it from Steve at Carsons, thanx Steve

DENSO...The guy who owns this company must be billionier by now. Has anyone noticed Lexus has about 90% of parts with Denso logo on it. Any info on this company?
I just looked at my key, looked at the HID and even the oil filter.

Lexus Champion
maybe they have the same stock # because they are used as stock ECU's in europe so there was no need to change it from toyota's part or maybe they shipped you a stock one instead of the L-tuned

try to look at the component inside, are they the same also? show me the picture of the inside, i should be able to tell you, unless there is a programmable chip inside and the chip was programmed differently...
Want to go father? I can read the image on the programmable chips out and do a binary compare on them for you

Also,
Maybe Lexus just changed one of the resistor inside to change the sentivity of the steering wheel===>I hear some DIY project comming up
Show me a close up pic of the component inside the chips, i'll spend some time to study them for you. I will study my steerin ECU when I get mine.
Anyone want it to be more sensitive or sensitivity adjustable?

Denso is a japanese company but their main headquarters is in Troy Michigan, i have a friend that has been interning for them for 2 summers already. Since i go to school at U of M - Ann Arbor , GO BLUE! i know a few people that intern at Denso and they told me that the Denso, helps makes parts for GM like for example their headsup display the infared thing they have in those cars, which we don't have yet. Also, they do a bit of japanese car stuff, that means they must design a tiny bit of toyota/lexus stuff there.
