I was wondering if any others have had this problem and a solution.
When ever i put the "stick" into manual mode, it is supposed to "stick" there but it will not.
Everytime i shift into E mode it will not stick adn just ends up going back to auto mode.
Help.
Mine does the same thing. It's not an E-Shift problem, it's a gear shift problem. Like me, you may have something wedged underneath that plastic piece on the upper half of your gear shifter. You may want to remove that, and see what's underneath there, not letting it hold in place.
theres something stuck in the center console... the shifter does not really do anything except feed a signal to a the trranny when in D and M so its not like your tranny is saying go back to D and the shifter pops back to D.
i have a related e-shift question.... (sorry - don't mean to hijack the thread)
i haven't been really using the e-shift because of one thing... i feel the response is really slow. The actual gear change has a pretty irritating delay after i press the buttons on the steering wheel.
I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem, and if replacing the ATF fluid did anything to help with the problem.
