Can anyone help?? Called Lexus and they have no clue..... on a 2k lexus when I go down and buy the 01 and newer lights do i need anything else other then the light assembly I heard you need some extra wire loom????

 

You dont need extra wiring. Its a direct bolt up.

(i bought mine from carson.... i dunno about others...)

The 98-00 and 01-05 taillights use different wiring harnesses. The 98-00 ones can be used but you will have to do some wire cutting/splicing. It is cleaner just to get the new wiring harness.

If you bought the lights from Carson (our CL vendor), the harness is included. I cannot vouch for other sources. If you get it from the dealer, make sure that the new harness comes with the tails. If not, you will need to buy them.

 

Just make sure that the 01+ tails you buy come with the harness. I would also recommend Carson if you are not sure about where to get them from. I think their price is about as good as you will find brand new

 

no i think they are separate parts, at least you can get them separate

 

i just talked to Carson Toyota, yesterday, the current price for the +01 taillights, is 330.00 plus shiping, so thats the update
