cclp - curious why you want to do this, what you think you'll gain? Plus, isn't install kinda expensive because brake fluid has to be drained/refilled and carefully bled of any air?
I've thought of doing this, but am a little nervous about doing it.
Originally posted by cclp is there anybody change there brake line to Steel Brake Lines what brand that i can choose with
and is gs400 use same brake line as toyota supra
Well, your only local source is RMM. You can get import lines from Japan; Tom's, etc. For TRD lines, see Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota.
Don't let anyone tell you different, but the Supra lines DO NOT fit the GS. While you're in there, use racing fluid like Motul.
The benefits of these changes are better pedal feel and increased fluid heat tolerance.

hi, the reason that i want to change the brake line
because i feel that the brake is not strong enough
so did you change one

Stainless steel lines will not make your brakes "stronger" - stop you faster. They will not reduce your stopping distance.

i don't think is only the pedal feel
because i change brake line and brake rotor on my last car is better stoping
the reason i want to change because i use a set of 19"wheel feel the brake's not enough
but anyway thanks
The better feel comes from the fact that the stainless lines won't expand when brake pressure is applied, whereas the stock rubber lines expand a tiny amount and reduce the effective presure that is sent to the calipers.
They don't really change anything for the better, they simply reduce energy losses over the stock components.

For shorter stopping distance you can get some improvement from changing pads but you'll probably have to go to larger rotors.

i already change the brake pads to tom's racing
Then rotors and calipers are up next. Check out the Supra swap. Can't tell you more. You've just heard about all I know about it, but others on the site have done it.
