Default 01GS430 Navigation question

Whenever I look for a point of interest it looks for interests in New Jersey where I think the original owner lived. I typed in Home Depot and looked for ones in NJ. Is there a setting I can change that loooks for ones near my currentl location I thought it would automatically look for home depots near my current location. Also anyone know where I can get a navigation manual? Thanks

there is a setting where you change your region. you need to change the regioon to where you are so the nav can search teh right places

Click on Destination button and pick different region on the right of the screen. Also make sure that the Home destination set correctly as your address. You can change it from Menu -> Setting-> Delete Home -> Set Home.
I hope this will work for you.

personally i would suggest against putting your home address in the nav, very dangerous imho. imagine someone stole your car, drive it, click on home, go to your home, you got home link, open garage door, done deal....

i never put my address in the cars i have

I called the dealer and they said that the version 4.1 can be used in any lexus with the dvd based navigation this applies to most lexus models from 01 MY to now...
