how to take off tunk bar?

Default how to take off tunk bar?

titlle says it all, i want to remove my trunk bar. how would i do that?

Its pretty easy. Just remove the leather wrapped trunk liner and its held on with 4 10mm screws I think. Just be careful to make sure you put the trunk lock on the right way when you put it back on.

thanx....even better before i remove , what kind of bulbs are inside. i going to order replacements but need to know? i think they look like 194's but want to be sure...

Edit 4 screws and you are correct its 194 wedge bulbs.

You dont need to take off the trunk bar to install the bulbs. Unless you are doing a chrome trunk bar

i'm not doing a chrome trunk bar but i thought i would need to take off the trunk bar to get to the lights. does that plastic piece pop off?

LOL I thought you were getting a trunk bar too. Yeah u dont need to remove it to get to the bulbs. ITs pretty straight forward. Just remove the lining and its all easy from there no tools needed.

ok so i just need to remove the inside lid lining and than i can change the bulbs?

i'm just changing the bulbs that all. one burnt..so i figured i'll go to white ones instead.

Do they make led bulbs that will fit the 194 license plate bulbs? I think if the lights were brighter they would look a lot better. Are you going to put leds there adrian?

yes sir....i just ordered varad 194 led plug in replacements for my lower doors, trunk bar lights, and upper rear headliner domes. i also ordered varad twin led dome light replacement and varad led map lights plug in replacements..
