I got mines from Ebay and is very satisfied w/ it. Just make sure you do not get the cover that fits over your existing oem trunk bar.

Ok not to sound like a @#$ but can someone tell me the point to these things? Do they REALLY make a difference or is it for show? I understand their purpose thats not my question, do they REALLY work?

I am assuming this is the bar that runs between the shock towers in the trunk?

well apparently it adds 5 horsepower to your rear end... jk... this is actually the bar right below the emblem of the trunk.. its just a garnish basically to our beautiful rides.. makes it prettier

No, it's not that, it's the DECORATIVE chrome piece that goes above the license plate

Well if you dont ask the questions you dont gain any knowledge.

But I am STILL waiting on someone telling me the "real" benefit to the tower bar for the rear.

Hahaha,, tis very true. The real benefit of the bar you are thinking of (strut tower brace) is to stiffen the chasis and suspension up a lil bit thus making cornering better as well as reducing the amount of body roll. They have been proven to be very effective in alot of aplications. Think of it as the "common man's " roll bar.

Thanks Tony.

Sorry to hijack this thread but does that mean you need both of them to get the best results or is just having the front enough? So this is good for say...drifting or autocross but with everyday driving the benefit is dimished?
