Quote: umm..... the abs sensor are on the suspensions we already have couple of cases where the abs sensors got damaged when installing coilovers

... No ABS sensors were damaged ... ABS seems to be working just fine ... SP Engineering installed the TEIN Coilovers and the PRUET MOTORSPORTS tuned the suspension /alignment/geometry etc … no problems detected there either …

…Thanks for the suggestion …

… Thanks for your support ... I have only one more word to clarify the current status of the car and issue of driving my UNSAFE car …

Nobody drives it right now.

It is parked at the LEXUS Dealership Service Department while we all are still waiting for a solution or any sensible decision from LEXUS Headquarters in Torrance.

Of course, last week I refused to accept the LEXUS senseless proposal to keep driving the car.

They wanted me to drive the car until they will somehow come up with some new diagnostic tool or technique
or new information and then will be able to duplicate this supposedly unknown odd behavior
and then finally offer some kind of repair or any technical remedy.

Hopefully, I will soon be able to let you know if LEXUS will do the right thing and after realizing their misdiagnosis up until now, will fix/replace the most likely faulty YAW RATE SENSOR.

Again, thanks for your support.

... Thanks again, you asked an excellent question. … Thanks for your understanding, your solidarity and your help ...

At this time I am withholding this particular Southern California dealership name, as well as the names of the particular managers and the involved representatives from the Lexus Customer Satisfaction National Headquarters located in Torrance California.

Although so far, in light of the seriousness of the potential liabilities arriving from my car malfunction, they responded to my complaints with an unbelievable casual and layback attitude, and they did allow me to drive this UNSAFE car after at least three times after I complained about this problem, they did not force me to drive the UNSAFE car after the fourth time I brought that problem to their attention and they asked for more time to come up with the satisfactory solution to this dangerous problem and provided me with the alternative Courtesy Vehicle.

But it has been a long time now and NO solution was offered.

Now, I guess my patience is running out, because I realized that the problem is so obvious and well publicized in the Lexus own TSB, that the repair or re-recall if you will, should be taken care of long time ago in the tradition of the impeccable Lexus service reputation.

But it did not happen in timely fashion. So, as you can understand, I had to make my experience public.

Appropriately, I came to this well known public Lexus owners Forum, in hopes that somebody would know something more about this problem than I did and the Lexus representatives were willing to admit.

And I was right.

You guys were great with nailing the problem on the head almost right of the bat.

Thanks again.

I will keep you posted on the final results of your intervention hopefully very soon.

... I am trying to be patient, but my case is only partially resolved as of today and that is only thanks to the info and help that I've obtained on this and other public forums.

Sadly enough I’ve learned that LEXUS Corporation is in horrible disarray because it is in a transition period between previous President Danny Clements and the new President Bob Carter ever since last summer of 2004. The New Boss will supposedly start managing today’s mess in June of 2005.

There is really nobody responsible to ask for help until June. People who are in Torrance are mindless script readers with pinheads attitudes that will soon bring LEXUS reputation to a level of street gutter. I’ve seen complaints and multiple examples of similar mistreatment of the LEXUS owners all over the Internet forums.

Representatives from Torrance headquarters have lied to me multiple times. They’ve contradicted themselves on every possible occasion. They don’t follow up on my complaint despite multiple phone calls and faxed letters. They don’t act professionally like they used to. This careless attitudes trickles down to a dealership levels. The Dealership owner never responded to my written complaints. However he has never forgotten to mail me signed letters after previous services with apparently phony requests to contact him in person if any problem would occur.

And I will be making a lengthy disclosure of all the involved parties and person’s names pretty soon.

Currently, because of the safety concerns involved with my car malfunction I’ve just brought my case to the attention of the California Department of Transportation, Department of a Motor Vehicle in Sacramento and the Better Business Bureau.

I am so discouraged because the arrogant, negligible attitudes and poor quality of the local LEXUS Dealer Service and Customer Service in Torrance I’ve already cancelled my purchase order for a new 2006 GS 430 and I’ve send inquiry for a new CLS 500 to a local participating dealers.

It is a real shame because I’ve never consider to buy a “**** Mobile”.

But LEXUS with their careless attitude seems to be pissing on my long time owner loyalty for a few months to long already …

... Here is the last time we had a good time at the Los Angeles HIN:
