You had mention that top secret is working on a Turbo for the GS4 right. Is it a twin or a single set-up. Can you also gave more info. if you have any.
That would be the mod to get if all goes well. I know that everyone has a problem with the stock ECU.

I just talked with Ray a few days ago, he mention some company has a turbo kit that would enable GS400 into 1500 hp monster. IT costs around 80k for the complete setup according to Globe. anywayz. GS400 turbo kit is bound to come out sooner or later, cuz japan now is working on the V8, as the bigger v8 displacement can provide more power potential~( the next generation v8, like 430)
so.. patience, it will be here.

ps. I think Turbo is better than Supercharger, Mo's clamed 800 hp gs4 can only go 12.06 for the quarter miles ( and where can he go after that?), a gs300 with full blown Japanese aristo TT converstion could easily generates 520 hp and run 11.0 second for quarter miles. ( mind you, that's with the stock internals) :eek: the date and source is very reliable. =D think about the turbo on a gs v8!!
so Turbo is the way to go!!!

I agree that a turbo is much better than a SC. The funny thing about Mo's GS is that yes it has 800HP or close to but whats up with the numbers Don't get me wrong cause I think Mo has done alot for our cars and I like the TC and the intake. Its just hard to sell a SC for that price yet not have the numbers for it. A car that has 800HP should be able to pull low 11's or mid 10's right.....
I'm sure that Mo is working on the new SC and maybe by than. The turbo for the GS4 will be out as well. Dammmmm,,just imagine have a turbo on a V8 All might be over after that but all I really want is to be able to pull low 11's or even high 10's

I'm just going to wait to see what happens but I know that a turbo will be out soon. The GS has come a long way and it seems that everyone is getting them given that I see more GS>IS>LS and Bimmers or Benz's. Just tell everyone how well and fun it is to drive a Lexus.


As for my kit> got the sides on but need to take it back for the door panels and still waiting for the fog lights to come in.

 

I think you are overlooking the tranny. Mo's GS still has a automatic tranny that is going to take up a lot of power. A full TT swap would include the 6 speed (I believe Getrag) tranny. That should make a reasonable amount of difference.

The story of the Top Secret turbo LS goes WAYYYYY back....

about 2 years ago Option mag of Japan was doing a testrun and photoshoot of the RB26DETT equipped TopSecret Supra, and was busted by local police enforcements. This news was really big back then, and somehow the words got to the Saudi Arabian area.

Many people knows that Koenig tunes Ferraris and other cars for rich people, like I've seen the turbo 360 Modena. Those Arabian princes really love racing and they will throw in alot of money to win. Anyways a rich prince from Duabi heard the words on the company TOPSECRET and got interested. He then wants a LS with turbo..

Hence, LS430T.

Top Secret is working on a turbo kit for the new UCF31 Celsior (new LS430) with the 3UZ-FE 4.3 liter V8. When completed it will be running 570ps with .7 kg/cm2 boost. Conventional AT will not function properly, so on the TopSecret prototype LS430 it's got a worked AT transmission with enhanced gears.

If there's a kit for the LS430 coming out soon, the the GS430 will be able to put it on with minor changes.

But you're asking about the 4.0 1UZ-FE. Hmm, in that case I'm talkin about the HKS turbo 1UZ-FE recently featured on their drag supra, producing something around 1400ps. But that's not even street legal and dont' nkow if it'll go into production. Maybe someone like HKSpowerGS4 can answer this better.

well guys Im working with max preformance here in seattle to get a turbo in my car if the price is at the range that Im expecting it to be then I wont sell my GS4 and I will post it up for you guys and maybe get a deal going for all club lexus users but dont expect this anytime soon maybe in the next 2-3 months

 

I forgot to mention that preformance gains are expected to be from 520hp to 600hp

so I see that your getting a custom turbo made Can't wait to hear back when its done. what is the cost for the set-up. hopefully if all goes well, I will get the set-up also.
glad to hear that your going to keep your ride cause why would you want to see it. Theres no point in playing that game rather I would collect what amount of cars I can. The GS has always been the car ever sense it came out in 98.
