Angry GS400 vs some psycho in a SUV

Well, it finally happened last night, some psycho pulled out of a side street and caused my GS400 to loose control and wreck It happened last night in rainy weather, the SUV just came flying out and of a side street and evasive action was taken, which caused the rear end to fly out due to the wet streets. My car jumped the center median/divider on the passenger side, proceeded to cross two lanes of oncoming traffic and then slid 10ft onto the curb into a stainless steel fence.

If the fence wasn't there, things would have been much worst, since the fence was surrounding a water/sewer station right by the house. I don't want to even fathom what would have happened if the fence didn't stop the car. At a glance, things look pretty bad. Smashed quarter panel, broken rear rim, scratch bumper and front HID, broken control arm/bent axle in front, and maybe an issue with the sway ba/end link.

It's such a shame, the car has always been well cared for, avoided dangerous drivers and always parked away from other cars in the lot...there's not even a single ding on the car after more than 3 years. And as a 'kick me when I down',the insurance policy states ' for the NEXT policy renewal, you will receive a discount since no accidents or violations were charged in the last 3 years'

LIfe's not fair bro. I hope you bounce back. Good thing no one was hurt.

Did the SUV even stop or was it a hit and run?

Thanks so much for the support, lucky that there wasn't ay incoming traffic or this would have been much, much worst. As for the SUV didn't stop or look like it slowed down, Ithink the owner lives around here, so I'm going to do some trolling.

It's off to the dealership tommorow morning, hoping not hear the FRAME word being used at all.
Check out the pic from today, the fence saved the car by a long shot. The tire tracks end about 6ft from the house/station Thanks for all the supprt, just need some place to vent.

it's good that you're okay and are able to tell us about this. don't worry, your gs will be fixed. i know how you feel. i hate pickup and SUV drivers. they are crazy. they either think they are race car drivers or they like to tail people.

Sorry to hear about your GS. That really sucks. Were there any witnesses when this happened? I hope you find the owner of the suv and nail him to the wall. Good luck with the repairs and hope everything turns out for you.
