Thumbs up

A few weeks ago, someone told me in another thread that the sun visors on my '01 GS430 (other years, too, presumably) slide on their mounts so you can extend them. I went out and tried it and it sure works! They slide as far as you could ever need 'em to in order to block the sun that is zapping you in the face around the end of the visor.

My guess is that others on this board also don't realize that the visors extend, so I thought that I'd post this tip as the main message. It was buried in one of many responses to the previous thread, so many folks may not have seen it.

Default Duct Tape

You know I noticed that vibration too, but I found that about 5 layers of duct tape from the visor to the headliner stops it If it can't be fixed with duct tape IT CAN'T BE FIXED.

Duct Tape, Duct Tape, Duct Tape....I've been living in the South waaay tooo looong....

I haven't had a problem with 'em vibrating, but if I do I'll just glue them to the headliner with heavy duty weather seal cement. That will surely take care of the problem.

sun visor??
Is that the black plastic add on that suppose to reduce wind noise while driving...or are yall taking about the orginally part of the car? I was thinking of getting one but wasn't sure if it does the job or if it requires drilling.
