The glass (which is plastic by the way) is actually NOT tinted green at all, it's the chrome that has a greenish tint.

Another CL member accidentally bought a single 01 headlight as a replacement for the scratched lens on his 99, and later realized it didn't match.

I swapped out the chrome inner bezel from an "01up" headlight with his 99 and everything matched up.
"'click click' good to know"

Yeah, I knew plastic not glass, but I've never disassembled one to see where the difference in coloration was. Good info !

Yeah I knew you knew.

I thought an interesting thing to note is if someone didn't like the green tint, but was interested to black out their bezels JDM style or body color, etc. then the greenish tint would go away, no problem.

I love the new Corvette and the body color headlight treatment. I'm wondering how a body color headlight bezel would look on a GS, especially on a bright color like Cinnabar or Blue????

redgs4 or Rominl, you reading this? I'm setting my oven to pre-heat now !

nah, i will pass. i will never paint the headlight body color. imho that's very tacky... as if i don't have enough body color stuff on the car i am very happy with my dark chrome hid headlights

Nice GS.. very clean. love the front spoiler. What is it??? I was just thinking. If it were mine, i would probably color match the lower mesh with the one from the grille.... I mean since you have those color matching wheels... that would look sweet for me. The bright mesh won't stand out as much.. Anyway.. sorry, just a thought. it looks really nice and clean.... What kit are you using??

that's the full tom's body kit all around, i believe that's the only one in the US?

actually the mesh for the grille is the EXACT same one as that on the bumper. however the bumper it angles differently, and together with the thickness of the mess, you see it as more "silver" on the bumper. the mesh on the grille is also silver

Smile AAhhhhh

well, I must say... It is a killer look. very clean and not bulky and racy like... Only one in the US huh? Are they that expensive?? How much do they run?? The whole kit? I like it because it smoothes out the bottom lip and gets rid of the side markers...

The bumper is about 1600 + shipping. I don't recall redgs4 saying anything about modding the bumper but it may just be my memory. Like most JDM kits, it is FRP.

Holy !@#$ !!! That much?? damn, I guess if you wanna be unique, you gotta pay. Well, I am sure the cost is worth it with reguards to quality.. Atleast i hope.. Looks awfully tight. I would have insurance on it just in case I got into an accident or the car gets stolen....
