If it's 01 non-hid to your 99. Then yes it will work.
If it's a 01 w/ HID...then I don't think it will.
Connectors for the HID lights are different. but everything else is the same.
The 01 HID will also have a computer for the lamp and a motor leveling sensor.
I'm sure its doable but with a lot of modification, time and money involve.
It'd be cheaper if you just get an aftrmrkt HID kit.

Pretty much what Nad1370 said. I did a retrofit of the HID headlights into my 99. I ended up running wiring from the battery for them. You can do a direct wire / wire connector solution, but I used a relay to protect my HIDs. I didn't hook up the leveling motors but considering that most Acuras didn't have auto-leveling on theirs, I don't consider it a big concern. I've never had a problem with them.

you would not be able to use HIDs for highbeams because you have to warm up HIDs, you can't just flash them on. unless you keep them on for a while. and yes you would need o disable the DRLs
