I saw this ad was wondering if it would work on the 99 Gs400?

 

The wheel will fit but the airbag won't. The 99 airbag will not fit on this wheel either. For $700, I'd say move on.

 

How about if i bought just the wheel, and then purchased the RX330 air bag to go on it. Will that fit? Will it work?

you need to get the 01 rx300 airbag, that's the ONLY one that will fit.

plus, the steering wheel you looking at, it doesn't have the eshift buttons

 

ya john you have to make sure you find a steering wheel with the e-shift....

 

Finding this steering wheel/air bag combo is beginning to be a pain in my A$$! Today, while i was on break at school, i went out and took out 7/8 of the plasticy woodgrain in my car, all i have now is by the shifter and all of it will be out. Now, i gotta find the steering wheel to bring back the woodgrain look. I like the look, but i don't like the plastic or laminated wood look. I want something genuine. I must say though, i do love the look of the interior without the woodgrain inside. Still searching for the steering wheel......

yes, the steering wheel + airbag combo is definitely not easy to find at all, very hard indeed, that's why not too many people have it i guess, together with the fact that it's not going to be cheap

 

I didn't realize how expensive the parts were from Lexus, but wow! I was shocked. Hopefully i'll find one one day.
