Default HID Headlight Question

Ok, I have H.I.D. headlights on my GS400 (2000) My car is also under warranty (3-year/100,000 miles) So anyways, one of my headlights went out and they tried to tell me it's not under warranty, I don't know if it is or isn't, but I think it's kind of messed if it isn't. They also told me the GS's headlights are "vented" 'cause I pointed out condensation (WHEN I BOUGHT IT) I think the headlight went out due to the condensation since I noticed a lot more than usual when it went out on me. What should I do? Do any of you have information on it? Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Well if you see a lot of water inside the headlight housing then your bulb may have gotten burned up because of it.

hid bulbs under water? ummm imho not sure if it's a good idea. i tend to think it's the bulb out. and nop, you are out of warranty for sure so you will have to replace them yourself.

about the condensation, if you do a search you will see that it's a common problem for the gs. but tell the dealership to stop their BS, what's venting headlights?!

philips bulbs on ebay are very cheap, around 70.00 for the pair. if you rule out that your ballast is still good, change both bulbs so they match.

warning, changing hid bulbs is hard to do, even if you have small hands.

Professional only please. But, it's doable, I've actually submerged the whole system underwater, not just the bulbs.
