I got my car at Longo Lexus and it was really cool cuz i like their little underground garage thing they have going on with all the pretty lexus'. (yes, i'm a girl.) Anyways, I always take my car into Longo for oil changes (even though I know I get ripped off...) and for all other uh... checks (whatever you call 'em). And although I like Longo, it takes FOREVER for them to finish the cars even with an appointment. What's good about that dealership is that if all their rental cars are taken, they at least have people who will take you places (shuttles, I suppose... although I've never seen it) if you need to get somewhere and have no other form of transportation. And I think most Lexus dealers send surveys to your home about your most recent visit. ALLCODE could at least give a bad review. My parents gave a bad review for Longo because they scheduled an appointment to get my nav. system updated and when they got there, the service department said that they didn't have the new cd or something and that they would give us a call in 3 days or so. TWO weeks later... still no call. And after my parents gave a bad review, we got a call from a Longo representative and he told us to personally talk to him whenever we had any problems or concerns. I'm still waiting for the Riverside Lexus survey. I have a few complaints about that one...

oh, sorry for the long reply. i have a tendancy to ramble sometimes... lol

Service opinion
This is a great thread....Service to me is a very important part of the car buying/owning experience.

I have substantial experience with Westminister and Glendale and one experience with Longo.

My conclusion is that you need to stay on your guard and make sure things get done right...no matter which service dept. you choose. My experience is that unfortunate things can happen at any dealership...but so far when pushed Lexus makes things right in the end. Sometimes it does take a lot of effort though.

Are you kidding, go back to the dealership you got yur car from! Serramonte Lexus has one of the best service depts around. Great service and price. They have experience with many aftermarket upgrades also; SRT TC, TRD parts of all kinds, brake upgrades, etc. See Mark Owen for service advisor, or Derek Butts serive director and they'll take care of you. Tell them you're from ClubLexus.

For bigger mods, there's Bruce Nomura in Tracy.

Also, send me a PM with your name, email, hometown, and car data, and I can add you to the Bay Area roster if you wish.

#1 in Customer Satisfaction?
I have been treated like a KING every time I have walked into Lexus Carlsbad for service over the past 2.5 years. Even the sales guy who sold me my GS4 will pop out an say hi if he sees me picking my car up ... and he remembers my name! The one that blew me away was on my first service visit I VERY mildly complained about a very minor leather blemish on the back side of the steering wheel. You could not see anything, but you could feel some slight roughness in a spot the size of a nickel. My service associate mentioned it to the head manager in passing ... he did not even blink ... "get him a new steering wheel". WOW ... part cost over $1000 since in includes the air bag. Since then, always the same. Professional and always follows up after. Will be hard to buy my next car anywhere else.

Toyota Service
Someone told me we can go to a Toyota service department to get things done to our car and it will be less. Since many parts on some of the Lexus cars are Camry parts(I heard) we can get them cheaper. I am wondering how much of this is true.

But I like the idea of rating each dealer. Let's do it and start a thread.

I am starting to think County Line Lexus gave me a Lemon. Still working on getting that Spoiler fixed right.

You should have asked them to replace it with the Wood Wheel. But on second thought you might have gotten splinters, especially if you have a dealer like mine.
