Default Trouble deciding

Like many on these forums, I'm gonning to be looking at getting another car soon. Well whenever I get out of the desert. I currently own a 03GS430 and G-35 coupe. I'm selling the coupe and I'm looking to replace it with one of the three. 1. 06 GS 2. 03-04 LS-430 3. Infiniti M45. I was looking for some feedback from you guys to help get me off the fence.

peronsally, i would get the 04 ls430. NOT 03, but 04. it has facelift, tons more goodies, smoother ride and much faster as well, with better throttle response.

i always want the ls430 and was this close to getting one, but ended up with sc430, still not a bad choice

Ahhhhh, Henry. You finally admit in forum that you are driving NEW SC430. White/tan and very nice, though completely stock for now. Must feel very different driving all stock car, BUT it does have that new car smell, right?

haha well i think it's time to let people know, i made a thread in the sc430 forum too mod? just a matter of time. but it's one great car

anyway, back on the thread, i forgot to post why i didn't choose the new gs and the m45. i just don't feel much about the infiniti. call me crazy, but the m45 is just not that appealing to me. the new gs, it's just personal, but so far i don't really feel too excited about the car neither. you are going to pay premium plus more for the car when it comes out. so why?

My neighbor across the street has an LS 430 that he let me drive when he first got it last year. It is really an amazing car. My first Lexus was an LS400 (1990). Really a MB and BMW killer when it came out costing only $35,000. Forced both german brands to rethink their whole North American marketing strategy. A very nice car for its time and a bargain in the luxury market. Would you every consider buying an LS , Henry, or do you feel like its to Middle-Aged for you at this stage in your life? I hear that Lexus is working on a new bigger flagship car to go against the MB 600. Maybe a V12 in the $85-100,000 range. That should be something to see when it gets here.

I'm not too old, 35, but I do favor the LS. I'm not too versed on the changes made from 03 to 04. Thanks for that info. The reason I was leaning towards a M-45 is I had a G-35 sedan and I can get the M-45 at invoice. That would be great if it holds value like the G-35.

The 06 GS has a great interior!!!! Sad thing is I'll still be in the desert when the M-45 and GS-430 come out. I drove the LS when I was on leave and it was so smooooooovv.

Don't know if you mean the old M45 or the NEW M45? They are two different cars. The 06 M45 due out early 2005 will be much better car than the previous lackluster M45.

I wanted to ask a similar question regarding the GS v LS. I am under the impression the LS is more of a plush car and the GS more athletic.

My question is if I want to push the car a little in the curves is the GS the clear winner?

well, put it this way, i am 26, and i want the ls430 badly already. i think with some nice touches the car could look very young

If you are referring to the older M45, then I would forget about resale value. At one point I think the dealers were offering 10k or so in rebates. The things simply glued themselves to the dealership floors! LOL. That being said they are decent, powerful cars. I would go for a LS in your posistion. Since you have the G35 to satisfy your performance needs, why not try the premium Lexus vehicle? I find it funny that people associate the LS with "old man" when lots of young guys drive big ole SUVs, and 745s etc etc.

i think at 10k off msrp this car would be a steal with all the cool options it has, this would help out greatly on the resale value, if u bought it at msrp it would be a different story.
