1 Question , 1 Solution
Hello again,
1 Solution:
Anyone ever wanted to raise the base level of their HID lights? After one of my visits to the dealership, they lowered mine and said they were "too high", even though I did not adjust the level since I bought the car. Unfortunately they lowered them to a pretty pathetic level that decreased my visibility on the road. So I was able to get a mechanic to tell me how to raise the level myself, and did so. They now provide just as much visibility as my high beams. If anyone is interested in raising theirs, I will post detailed instruction on how to do so.
1 Question:
My glove compartment keeps making an irritating rattle noise everytime I drive. I have to turn up the music to drown it out, but I've had about as much as I can take of the noise. Anyone have any solutions that would involve not taking it into the dealership?
Thanks in advance,
sTWO

How to raise the level of the HID's:
1) Open the hood and look around the area of your lights. You will notice a few mini-lugnuts.
2) Locate the lugnuts that are surrounded by a white-grey plastic piece. These lugnuts should be very close to your lights.
3) Twist these lugnuts with the proper tool, I can't remember which direction raises or lowers them, but all it takes is a little experimentation to figure it out.
I was amazed at how easy it was to adjust the level of the lights. Let me know if you have any problems or further questions.
