Hello everyone,

I have been away from the scence for a long long time. Spent most of last year in Asia and now it's time to get back home. It's really unfortunate for me to miss the EOS meet this year. I did really tried to persuade my wife to return for a few days to go to the meet but she refuse to do so. I did hower went to Yokohama Japan for a few days and coincedently saw a group of Aristo onwer and mingle. I told them that I have a GS 430 and they were AWESSS. Some of the cars were heavily mod with the 2.8L Supra Inline 6. Interestingly, they really like our Lexus Logos as we admire their Aristo (JDM) product. I guess we sometime take it for granted of what we have and how much we spent for our cars.

If I was to tell you that the GS 300 would cost over 100K in Asia will you believe me?

Well it does. Taiwan and Korea sell the GS 300 for 110KUSD. Check this out! I saw 3 GS430 in Sai Gon, Vietnam. Vietnam for all the place. The GS there cost more then 150K. For those who knows Vietnam, everything is CASH!!!

After spending more then a year over sea, I really miss my GS and especially the Club LEXUS family in Northern California.. I sometime came on to the forum and see more new members and new mods which I really envy and adore. For those who are new, A BIG WELCOME, and hopefully we will meet some where. Those who will see me on the Bay Area freeway, pull up and wave.

All and all, JUST HAPPY TO BE BACK.

BTW, anyone know where I can find a Carbon Fiber Lip?

My wife and I just went to Thailand and Vietnam (where we were both born) this past June. It was a fantastic time, I think I took over 1000 pictures. Did you have a good time? We also hit Hong Kong, and Macau. I played golf twice in Vietnam, and once in Macau. I hope you had a good time, and welcome back.

LOL, now you know the kind of pain all of us here in Asia have to go through just to purchase a car. Not only do we have to pay ridiculously high car tax, we also have to pay for everything upfront in cash! Leasing or installments are pretty much unheard of because most car dealers won't even bother with bad debts. The way they see it, if you can't afford a car in cash, then don't get one at all. Ouch.
