Talking I got her!!

Well, everything went according to plan, and I was able to pick up my GS this weekend. Actually, the wife's car is on its last leg and I "surprised" her with "her" new car (that I'll be modding for "her). Actually, I once dumped over $20k into a rice rocket before, which I'm not doing this time. Planning on having kids soon, so just looking at wheels, suspension, kit and updating the navigation to play dvd's which I saw somewhere here on the forum. Most likely won't touch it performance wise. Then again, who knows?

Here's a couple of pics. Man, I hate the stock height. Not as nice as most of your cars, but hopefully I can get there soon.

Nice ride! Looks super clean. How many miles are on it?

Congrats on the purchase.

Wasn't a bad deal 2000 GS4, 55k miles, Platinum Edition, Navi, got it for $24,900. I'm sure I could've done better, but could've done worse too. Oh, and it still has the dealer warranty.

Nice find. More importantly, great justification since everything will be "for her." (ha ha)

I live in San Diego and found a dealer (non-franchised) in LA through autotrader.com. Ran a carfax went over it for about 4 hours and made sure the factory warranty still applied. Just realized that the navi in this 2000 is a dvd and not hd. I wanted to be able to do that mod where someone was able to use the screen to play dvds. Doesn't look like it's going to happen now . I'm searching through the forum for info on it now though....
