I'm searching through the forum for info on it now though....
Congrats on the new purchase! Did you mean to say that your 2000 is HD and not DVD, because it is HD. Unless I'm mistaken, you can still upgrade the 2000 Nav to play DVD along with TV/Games. Just have to buy the conversion unit (do search for Video Nav) and a dvd player. TV tuner to receive TV signals. Please correct me if I am wrong.

In any case, CONGRATS again!

oops! Yeah, I meant that the navi is hd and not dvd. I pretty much gave up on the conversion after not finding anything (i've been searching on this forum all day). Maybe I'm not using the right key words. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the renewed hope!!

Here's one thread. Although it's over 2 years old and I believe it is not being made anymore, it just confirms that it can be done. I've also seen the unit for sale on here once in a while and sometimes on eBay. Just have to keep an eye out for it. Good Luck.

Edit: Oops, that's an '01+ model. I still am pretty confident that it is doable.

Nice car! But I'm biased having a silver 2000 GS4 with nav.

I think that was a steal of a price you paid...
