hey i wanted to know what exactly is the difference between the 98-00 tails and the newer ones. is it that the newer ones resmble more of a led look?

 

i called the dealer about this and they told me that they have the same part number for each year so he concluded that they are all the same... kinda confusing at first, but since this was talked about before, and someone mentioned it, i think that the reason the lights look more red is b/c they are newer.

yes, a lot of people who upgraded their tails to 01 can tell the difference in color compared to the inner, the inner would be a little dull due to sun exposure over the years. if you're a perfectionist, buy the inners to match.

 

i brought this up a week or so ago


concensus is that they fade over time....get some plastic polish and buff the crap outta them

 

i can almost say that with some buffing and polishing the inners would look just as bright. mine do
