I have a 98 GS400 and until recently the remote would turn the lights off (if they were on) after 2 presses of the lock button but it just stopped doing that. The remote used to put the interior light on whe I unlocked the doors and that has also stopped. It locks, unlocks and opens the trunk okIs this a function of the remote or the ECU? Did the key lose the programming? If so can I easily get that functionality back? I should have tried my other remote key to rule out the key but I don't have it with me now. Any help will be appreciated.
