I was at the DAZZ site and was lookin at the Lowenhart rims. I especially like the BR-5, LD1, and the BS5 SUPER CRYSTAL (the one Biggie27 showed)... I was just wondering the quality of these rims. Are they regarded to as "knock-offs" or anything? How much do they run??

I was thinking of Lowenhart LD1 originally. For 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, they cost you around $2600 from GTAutosports if you pick up the rims yourself at Anaheim, Southern California.

The quality of Lowenhart is superb as RacingHart. It's top of the line.

they're pretty good wheels. LowenHart belongs to the HARTWHEELS line, which includes RacingHart, RH Evo, and other stuff. Not the big 4 in wheels (Work, SSR, Volk, and Enkei) but still very nice wheels in terms of quality and design.

Thumbs up the originals

the lowenharts are very true and original design wheels. the only way they can be "knock-offs" is when they knock all the $$$ off your wallet-very high end wheesl

I think the super crystals only come in 19"s every site I went to they were offered in 19" and $999 per rim is not bad considering the cheapest I found was $1300 per rim!

Try to contact Dave at GTAutosports. He will pricematch it and maybe even lower the price a bit.

If you get the rims from GTAutosports, you don't need to pay sales tax! That's like automatical 8% off.

GSWATKINS,
Is there any way you can post some pics of your ride on here? I was thinkin of gettin the same wheel, except the Super Crystal ones. I also was going to get the L-Tuned lowering kit so a pic would really help me see what it looks like!!! Hey, I even have a silver GS!! Thanks a million!!.... Where did you get your rims at??

Have not taken the time to photo, but I live in HB, work in Newport. Probably easy to hook up? Best way to do your homework..... Photos don't always convey.... My opinion the rims look excellent up close (5-50') marginal when you are 100' or more away. They are difficult to wash (as most 3 piece). water holds up in many places. Air compressor in garage helps a bunch. I bought the rims from a friend at Northridge tire, I could probably hook up same price?

Just so you know, BS5 Super Crystal has 45-60 day wait and they're custom order only....they also ONLY come in 19". Sprewell's price is around $6450 for rims and tires. $999/rim is also below dealer cost so if you can get BS5 SUPER CRYSTALS for that much, that's pretty damn good.

Personally, I think the BS5 Super Crystal is WAY overdoing it. Not even worth the money.

As for the price on for the 19" BR5 (R, not S), it's around $4000 or so with tires in silver. +$600 for bling-bling "look at me, I have shiny rims because I like shiny trinkets" chrome.

The BS5 (standard) is about the same price as the BR5 Chrome (because the BS5 only comes in chrome)

If you want 18", I can get you a better price than $3500 (which is a good deal) with tires...

Justin, just "private message" me if you want specifics...

Personally, I think if you're going to spend that much on rims, I would look at getting FORGED rims instead. I'd much rather spend $1300/rim on some HRE's than on some BS-5 Super Crystal...
