MANARAY,
I totally agree. $6500 is a little too much for those rims in my opinion. I do think they're dope tho!! If I had ALL THAT extra money to spend, I might consider them, but at this point in time, that's just TOO MUCH!! Thanks for the info howerever. I'm still interested in the BS5's though. If you can get me a good deal, then I'm all ears. If you want, you can email me at
LexDriver19@aol.com anytime...

I REALLY DIG the BR-5's and I also like the LD-1's...

GSWATKINS,
I live in HB so a meet should be easy. Where in HB do you live? I live on Springdale and Edinger. Do you know where that is? I'd love to get a look at those rims... NO PICTURES do nice rims justice!! Just let me know when a good time would be for you!!

THANKS AGAIN GUYS

MANRAY,
I agree completly. $6500 is just TOO MUCH for those rims. They are dope tho!! If I had all that cash to throw around I might consider them, but that is far from the case. Anyways, if you can get me a good deal on either the BS-5's or the BR-5's, I'm all ears. I even like the LD-1's!! If you'd like, you can email me anytime...

Cool To GSWATKINS

GSWATKINS:

Just curious why you selected Lowenhart BR5 with size 18"x8" front and 18"x9.5" rear? I had ordered an identical rims but was told to use 18"x8.5" front and 18"x9.5" rear with tire size 245/40R18 front and 275/35R18 rear. Any chance for you to post some pictures of your car in the gallery? I am thinking of using L-Tuned shock and spring but don't want to loose the comfortable ride. I know it would look better with the 1" lowered. At the present time I can only imagine what it would look like. It would be nice to actually see the rims on a GS.

Chu....

You don't want to pay $999 for wheels that are $1200+?

Well I want to pay $30,000 for a '01 GS430...but I doubt it'll happen huh

I must say, I love my Chrome LD1's. I put on the 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear with the Nitto NT555 245/35 in the front and 275/30 in the rear. I got it on my Cinnabar Pearl Gs400 with the H&R 1.4 inch drop. The wheels fit the car so well and turn so many heads!!! Even though they cost a pretty penny, it all pays off when you have everyone getting whip-lash looking at your car fly bye!!!!

gs400ondubz, I was just wondering why you are selling your Lowenhart BR-5? The reason I ask is becasue my BR5's (20"x9 and 20x10) are coming in on Monday. I personally think it's a beautiful wheel.

To all you guys on 20's,

How does your car ride? Have you experienced any suspension problems?

I would really like 20's but I'm worried about 2 things. 1.) the suspension not being able to take 20's and possibly ruining something. 2.) slowing the car down!!! Don't 20's slow your ride down??

Also, how many miles are you getttin from your tires on 20's?? I hear the max is like 10,000 miles!! I drive quite a bit and that means I'll go through tires (which are expensive as hell) every 6 months or so!!

I believe Diablo Racing Wheels and Katana Wheels has a knockoff of the LD-1's. They are one piece and I think the quality is not so good. Wouldnt suggest it.
